Heritage
The Heritage Line is our full custom saddle. It is built specifically around the horse, rider, job, and personal style of the customer.
From rigging and fit to leather, seat, tooling, conchos, and other details, this is where the full Loncey Johnson custom experience comes together.
Every choice is considered for both appearance and function, creating a saddle that is personal without sacrificing the ability to put real miles on it.

We use Hermann Oak A Grade leather for our saddles, selected for the quality and durability expected from a saddle that is going to be ridden.

Your Saddle Begins Long Before the First Cut.
Because every saddle is built specifically for its customer, we keep a limited order list rather than treating our saddles like an off-the-shelf product.

At this time, we are not accepting immediate new saddle orders. We are adding genuinely interested customers to our Wish List as openings develop.
Confirm Your Place
When your place approaches, we will contact you to confirm that you still want a saddle and that the timing works for you.
Build Your Saddle
When we are a few months from beginning your saddle, we finalize your tree and specifications and collect the required non-refundable deposit.
The wait is part of owning something made this way.
Saddle orders currently run approximately 4–5 years out. Because of the length of the wait list, deposits are not collected until we are ready to order your tree.
All that is required to join the Wish List is your name, contact information, and genuine interest in purchasing a Loncey Johnson saddle.

A few months before your saddle is scheduled to begin, we will contact you to confirm your build slot and discuss what you want in your saddle tree.
At that time, the required non-refundable deposit is collected for the tree.
Once your deposit is made, you are officially locked into the current base price.
