Tahita Belle Ray

Tahita is a 2024 sorrel mare who has been started and is proving to be an exceptionally willing and naturally athletic young horse.

She is naturally very light in the mouth and really wants to move off your legs. Tahita responds extremely well to your body position and leg cues and has been very easy to communicate with from the beginning. She is already showing signs of having a very natural stop, and she has the kind of feel and responsiveness that makes her fun to ride.

Tahita has been an easy colt to start and is showing a lot of natural athletic ability. She has a willing mind, learns quickly, and has the foundation to go in just about any direction. With more time and miles, we think she has the potential to become a really special horse.

Tahita is also one of our home-raised horses, which makes her especially special to us. She is out of our own broodmare, so we have watched her grow from the very beginning. She is the full sister to our six-year-old gelding, Mr. Shorty, who is an outstanding horse that we absolutely love. If Tahita grows into even half the horse her brother is, she is going to be an amazing horse. We have been extremely pleased with the minds and natural athletic ability of the horses we have raised, and Tahita is showing us those same qualities.
